| | Abstract | | IBM WebSphere Application Server Cumulative Fix for IBM SDK, Solaris Java™ SDK and HP-UX Java SDK. | | | | | Download Description | | Applying this Cumulative Fix on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and AIX systems will upgrade your SDK to 1.6.0 Java Technology Edition SR3. The Cumulative Fix for HP-UX will upgrade to 1.6.0.02. The Cumulative Fix for Solaris will upgrade to 1.6.0_07. Note that this Cumulative Fix is also applicable to the 64-bit Solaris platform.
Java SDK 1.6.0 SR3 Cumulative Fix was fully tested with WebSphere Application Server V7.0.0.1. For recommended Java SDK upgrade practices, see the Java SDK Upgrade Policy for WebSphere Application Server.

2 . For customers installing WebSphere maintenance level 7.0.0.1 (JDk Fix Pack 7.0.0.1), it is mandatory to use the latest version of Update Installer V7.0 to support all version 7.0.0.1 WebSphere products on the machine. |

| | Installation Instructions | Install JDK Fix Pack 7.0.0.1 on top of IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0.
The Update Installer is not packaged as part of the Fix Pack download and needs to be acquired separately. To get the Update Installer needed to install this Fix Pack, follow the instructions provided in IBM Update Installer 7.0 for WebSphere Software for AIX.
