Abstract

This version is compatible with IBM® WebSphere® Application Server v6.1 and v6.0.

Download Description

IBM Rational® Agent Controller is a daemon process that enables client applications to launch host processes and interact with agents that coexist within host processes.

IBM Rational Agent Controller is an optional compliment to the following products:

  • IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software v7.5
  • IBM Rational Software Architect for WebSphere Software v7.5
You do not need to install Rational Agent Controller if the WebSphere Application Server is installed on the same computer as your development product. However, to remotely profile your applications, you must install Rational Agent Controller on the same computer as the WebSphere Application Server where you published your applications.
