WebSphere Adapter for SAP Software V6.0.2.1 Fix Pack
Downloadable files
Abstract
IBM WebSphere Adapter for SAP Software version 6.0.2.1 has been updated.
Download Description
The following fixes are included in this fix pack:
SAP enterprise service discovery now supports the generation of IDocs from files.
Enterprise service discovery is now more user-friendly because of several usability-related changes.
Support for RFC Server Interface has been added. The RFC Server Interface provides a means to send RFC-enabled functions (such as BAPI functions) from the SAP server to an endpoint.
Support has been added for qRFC bidirectional communication with SAP applications. This support enables client applications to send IDocs to a specified queue in an SAP system.
An ALE certification requirement has been implemented to handle IDocs with the wrong destination. Now based on values in the RCVPRN field , the IDocs are routed to the correct R/3 system.
The number format exception that occurred when iDoc segments were greater then 999 has been corrected.
The problem with IDoc segments being truncated has been fixed.
The adapter fails when Java™ 2 security is enabled on HP-UX 11i.
Prerequisites
This fix pack should be installed on Version 6.0.2 of WebSphere Adapter for SAP Software
Installation Instructions
Note: If you're using WebSphere Integration Developer, upgrade the adapter using the WebSphere Integration Developer 602 IFix007.
Install the fix by following these instructions:
1. Download the file for your operating system.
2. Unzip the archive to a temporary location.
3. Execute the appropriate setup file for the operating system and install it to the same folder that contains the RAR file from the 6.0.2 version of the adapter.
To deploy adapters on AIX®, HP-UX, and Solaris platforms, generate new EAR files from the updated RAR file after applying the fix pack, using the enterprise service discovery wizard available with WebSphere Integration Developer, on Windows or Linux platforms. The new EAR file can then be deployed to WebSphere Process Server on the respective platform.
For further setup information, follow the detailed instructions in the Adapter for SAP Software ReadMe.htm file within the fix pack.
