The ISA Lite & ISADC for WebSphere Portal tools benefit customers by reducing the amount of time it takes to reproduce a problem with the proper Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) tracing levels set (trace levels are set automatically by the tools). The tools also reduce the effort required to send the appropriate diagnostic data to IBM support. In addition, the tools perform symptom analysis to help streamline the problem determination process.
ISALite Collectors for Portal 6.0 v4.1.2 provide support for WebSphere Portal and Lotus Web Content Management version 6.0.x.
ISALite Collectors for Portal 6.1 and Above v4.1.2 provides support for WebSphere Portal and Lotus Web Content Management versions 6.1x and 7.0x.
ISADC for Portal 8.0 provides support for WebSphere Portal and Lotus Web Content Management versions 8.0.
NOTE: ISA Lite and ISADC do not support i5/OS. For automated data collection support for i5/OS, please use the Wpcollector Tool.

Prerequisites
ISALite requires WebSphere Portal v6.0 or greater or Web Content Manager v6.0 or greater.
ISADC requires WebSphere Portal v8.0 or greater or Web Content Manager v8.0 or greater.
