This SupportPac contains a program for formatting MQ statistics and accounting SMF records. There are other programs that help you monitor your MQ system on z/OS
This SupportPac provides an improved program for printing accounting and statistics available in WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7.1.
It also provides a program which monitors queue and channel information, producing output that can be processed by a spread sheet to monitor data over time.
Processing the MQ SMF data, and giving suggestions on some possible out of line conditions.
The monitoring programs can be used to show usage of queues and channels over time

This SupportPac requires WebSphere MQ for z/OS V7.1.0
To install the SupportPac:
1. Copy mp1b.zip to a temporary directory.
2. Uncompress the file.
3. FTP two files to z/OS.
a) ftp ….
b) quote site cyl pri=1 sec=1 recfm=fb blksize=3200 lrecl=80.
d) put mp1b.load.xmit.bin 'user.MP1B.LOAD.XMIT'.
e) put mp1b.jcl.xmit.bin 'user.MP1B.JCL.XMIT'.
4. The files on z/OS will be recfm FB and lrecl 80.
5. TSO receive indsn(MP1B.LOAD.XMIT).
6. TSO receive indsn(MP1B.JCL.XMIT).
