Diagnosing The Problem

DataStage Flow Designer is installed with Information Server Enterprise Search in the WebSphere Application Server Liberty environment. When DataStage Flow Designer is launched from the Information Server Enterprise Search host Launchpad, then DataStage Flow Designer opens on the Information Server Enterprise Search host computer without a port.

Resolving The Problem

Solution 1:
Launch DataStage Flow Designer from the Information Server Service host computer instead of the Information Server Enterprise Search host computer and then compile the job.

Solution 2:

  1. Log into the InfoSphere Information Server Engine tier node.
  2. Change directory to /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBNode/bin.
  3. Run the following command to accept the certificate from the Information Server Enterprise Search host computer:
    ./UpdateSignerCerts.sh -url https://<Information Enterprise Search host>:443 -user isadmin -password <password>
  4. Change directory to /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBNode/CognitiveDesignerEngine.
  5. Restart the Jetty server by using the following commands:
    /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBNode/CognitiveDesignerEngine/stopCognitiveDesignerServer.sh
    /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBNode/CognitiveDesignerEngine/startCognitiveDesignerServer.sh
  6. Open DataStage Flow Designer from the Information Server Enterprise Search host Launchpad and compile the failed job.
