This document explains how to change the default TLS potocol in Cognos Analytics

See the screenshot attached. IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.8 introduced the ability to choose the protocols to enable in the Cognos environment.
Go into Cognos configuration and select Cryptography, then select SSL protocols.
Additional configuration on the server may be required to ensure all devices communicating with Cognos have the same protocols enabled.
