Problem
Unable to add a Modeler stream to a C&DS job. There is another machine which is working.
Symptom
Signed into Deployment Manager client with the 'admin' user, right-clicking on a stream. 'Add to Job' context menu selection is grayed out. Attempting to drag-and-drop the stream into the job also becomes grayed out when hovering over the job editor canvas.
Cause
The Features used to support various plug-ins (such as SPSS Modeler) within C&DS have not been successfully installed into Deployment Manager client. This action occurs behind the scenes when a connection is made to the C&DS server from Deployment Manager client. The Feature packages are downloaded from the C&DS Server and applied to Deployment Manager client. When an update completes successfully, as should occur the very first time you connect to the C&DS Server, a prompt dialog appears stating updates have been applied. To realize those updates you must close and open Deployment Manager client. In this case the Feature updates had not applied successfully. There can be several reasons for this.

Resolving The Problem
In this case the defined C&DS Content Repository Server connection information referenced a server's host name. Creating a new Content Repository Server definition having a fully qualified domain server name allowed the updates to be downloaded and applied successfully.
