In Maximo 7.6 Start Center result set portlet filters not open by default

Problem

In Maximo 7.6, the filters in the result sets of the Start Center are not open by default unlike in 7.5 which they are opened by default

Symptom

Question: In Maximo 7.6, the filters in the Result Sets of the Start Center are
not open by default, so the user has to click on them to open in order
to filter their result set data. In Maximo 7.5, these were open by
default. Shouldn't they be open by default in 7.6? And is there a way
to configure the default to open or closed?

Resolving The Problem

On Maximo 7.6 the skin version is tivoli13 and by using that the filter
fields are 'closed' by default. On Maximo 7.5 skin version is tivoli09
and the filter fields are 'opened' by default.

You can still use tivoli09 on Maximo 7.6. and the Result Set Portlet
filter fields should be 'opened' by default.

You do the following for this:
Go To > System Configuration > Platform Configuration>System Properties.
Filter for mxe.webclient.skin
Change the property to tivoli09 , save and do a Live Refresh.
Once you log out and log in out of Maximo you will see that the Result
Set filter fields are now opened.

However this will change the entire look of Maximo 7.6 into the old
look of version 7.5.

The filter field maybe connected to the maximo skin in someway and may
need to be custom coded for it to work the way you want it to if you
don't want to use the tivoli09 skin
