Attached document cannot be viewed

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attached documents are listed in the records of Work Order Tracking. But when you click the document the content cannot be viewed. Instead you see this error: Web Error: Error 404--Not Found

Resolving The Problem

To resolve the issue please check and set the following configuration.

1) Go To Any Application with Attachments functionality
2) Select Action
3) Manage Attachment Library/Folders
4) Update each Document Folder to be referenced as an absolute path as below.

Attachments = C:\DOCLINKS\Attachments
Images = C:\DOCLINKS\Images
