Whether Bulk Status Update is Available for Custom Application

Question

Is that possible to have Bulk Status Update feature for the custom applications created by Maximo Application Designer?

Answer

Maximo Application Designer lets you create three different types of new applications:

  • Power Applications
  • Single Page Applications
  • Self Service Applications

The system uses different template for each application type to create the basic interface structure of the application.

If you want to create an application which only having a main page and no tabs, you could choose 'Single Page Application' option. But 'Bulk Status Update' feature hasn't been implemented in the template of 'Single Page Application' by default.

In order to still have the 'Bulk Status Update' feature, you could first create your application by selecting 'Power Application' option then delete the tabs you don't really need. Or you could implement the feature by yourselves.
