Problem
Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0.8 introduces new templates for Work Center security groups to make it easier to configure and manage security for Work Center users. If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Maximo Asset Management and have already configured security for Work Center users, you must reassign them to security groups that are based on the new templates.
Resolving The Problem
- In the Security Groups application, use templates to create security groups for Work Centers and tools.
- If you are using the Technician template to create a security group for the Work Execution Work Center, in the Labor tab, select the Authorize Group for All Labor check box.
- Assign users to the new security groups.
