Abstract
Enhancements have been made in IBM Security zSecure Admin V2.2.1 to support sending zSecure Access Monitor statistics to IBM Operations Analytics for z Systems v3.1.0 (IOAz, fix pack 3.1.0.3-CSI-IOAz-IF0003).

This document lists updates to the IBM Security zSecure documentation as the result of the Service Stream Enhancement (SSE) for IBM Operations Analytics for z Systems (IOAz). All updates apply to IBM Security zSecure Version 2.2.1.
The following IBM Security zSecure publications for V2.2.1 were updated:
zSecure CARLa-Driven Components Installation and Deployment Guide
- Chapter 10. Setup of zSecure Admin Access Monitor was updated.
- Chapter 10. RACF Access Monitor: the introduction was updated.
- Several messages were added.

Migration notes
If you have not started the zSecure Admin Access Monitor started task (C2PACMON) since the last IPL of the system, no specific upgrade procedure is required to activate the code provided with this SSE. However, if C2PACMON is running, you must perform either of the following steps. These procedures are similar to those documented in IBM Security zSecure CARLa-Driven Components Installation and Deployment Guide, Chapter 10. Setup of zSecure Admin Access Monitor, section "Considerations when upgrading from a previous release of Access Monitor".
If you do not follow either of these procedures, startup might fail and an ABEND of the C2PACMON started task might occur. If startup fails with messages C2P0183E and C2P0123E, you might be able to recover by using the FORCE startup parameter.
- Procedures
- To stop the previous version of C2PACMON, use the SIPL command; for example, you can use the following operator command: MODIFY C2PACMON,SIPL. After a successful stop of the started task, you can restart C2PACMON by using the software as provided in this SSE. If you must return to the previous code, you must again use the SIPL command to stop C2PACMON.
- After stopping the current version of the zSecure Admin Access Monitor started task, shut down and IPL the system. After the IPL, start the zSecure Admin Access Monitor started task by using the software as provided in this SSE. In this scenario, no additional steps are needed.
