Abstract

After upgrading Domino to 9.0.1FP8, you receive reports from external recipients that attachments are corrupt in messages received from senders in your domain.

After upgrading your Domino outbound SMTP server to 9.0.1FP8, you receive reports from external recipients that attachments are corrupt in messages received from senders in your domain. The cause of this issue is related to the new 901FP8 parameter MIMEDisclaimersNoEncode, which is enabled by default.


Workaround
This issue is tracked as SPR TPONAKFJLP and a fix is under investigation.

To work around the issue, you can disable the INI parameter by issuing the following command on the outbound SMTP server:

set config MIMEDisclaimersNoEncode=0
