Problem
When using IBM Rational DOORS Next Generating (RDNG), attempts to add a new artifact to a module from a view results in grayed out options to insert.
Cause
In views, the options for insert are grayed out.
This is because a view may be in a different order and have artifacts filtered out. Since an insert of an artifact is dependent on the order of the artifacts, this option is only available when you have the module opened without any views selected.
Resolving The Problem
Open the module only and do not use a view or any filters to insert artifacts.
