Workarounds and Mitigations
Complete these steps on the system where MongoBD is installed:
- Verify that the .dbshell history file is world readable.
On the system where MongoDB is installed, enter the following command:
[root@picard ~]#ls -al /root/.dbshell
Output similar to the following output is displayed:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9371 Nov 7 10:51 /root/.dbshell
If the last 'r' in the sample output is displayed, the world has read access to this file. - To fix the issue, enter: chmod o-rwx /root/.dbshell
