Abstract

IBM Domino 9.0.1 Fix Pack 7 Interim Fix 1 addresses critical issues affecting Domino 9.0.1 FP7 for Linux64 & zLinux64.

Interim Fix 1 for Domino 9.0.1 Fix Pack 7 is now available for download from Fix Central. This Interim Fix is available for only Linux64 and zLinux64, and it addresses critical issues affecting those platforms. The issues stem from a threading mismatch and can surface in Domino as problems with cluster replication as well as potentially other critical issues. These issues are tracked as SPR KBRNAEMPX2.


Recommended Actions (Linux64 & zLinux64 only)

  • If you have already upgraded to Domino 9.0.1 FP7, it is recommended that you download and install Interim Fix 1 as soon as possible.
  • If you have not already upgraded to Domino 9.0.1 FP7, it is recommended that when you do so, you install 9.0.1 Fix Pack 7 immediately followed by 9.0.1 FP7 Interim Fix 1 (or the latest Interim Fix available at the time of upgrade).

    No, the issue described above which prompted the release of this Interim Fix affects only Linux64 and zLinux64.

Q2. Is a new/"fixed" version of Domino 9.0.1 FP7 for Linux64 and zLinux64 going to be released that also addresses the issue?
    No. This issue will be addressed via Interim Fix only.

Q3. If I'm currently running 901FP7 on Linux64 or zLinux64 without issue, do I still need to install the Interim Fix?
    Yes, to avoid known issues with cluster replication and potentially other critical issues.
