Terminal services

Citrix XenApp 7.7 is now supported.

Calendar

  • Administrators now enable the Google Calendar overlay feature through Google Calendar API v3. To enable this feature, generate an API key and a Client ID. Then add that information to the notes.ini file on the mail server. For more information, see the technote How to enable Google Calendar overlay on a Domino mail server. After the feature is enabled on the server, users can add their Google calendar to their main iNotes calendar.
  • When a Microsoft Outlook user sends a calendar invitation to a Notes user, under some conditions the invitation arrives as an email. In this case, the invitation is now formatted correctly as a calendar invitation rather than as simple email message.

User interface
For icon enhancements, see the technote Notes icons enhanced for display in high-resolution monitors.

Security
Fix Pack 7 provides authentication and port encryption enhancements that are controlled through the following new server notes.ini settings:

  • PORT_ENC_ADV controls the level of port encryption and enables the use of AES tickets.
  • TICKET_ALG_SHA controls which cryptographic algorithm to use when constructing tickets. HMAC-SHA 256 is enabled by default.

For more information, see the technote Authentication and port encryption enhancements in Notes and Domino 9.0.1 Fix Pack 7.
