http://servername:port/p2p2/servlet/dispatch URL in Cognos analytics 11 prompts for second login
Resolving The Problem
Clients should not be using the old dispatcher URI as an entry point to Cognos Analytics.
The URL still hast to be there because the new microservices send tasks to the old services (report runs etc) via the dispatcher and there has to be identity information to access the old services still hence the login challenge.
But the cookie path when hitting /p2pd/.. isn't going to be valid when you are then redirected intentionally) to /bi/ and hence it prompts for second login challenge.
As far as testing if a dispatcher is up, in Cognos analytics 11 just use the http://servername:port/bi/ URL
