I am running DB2 for Linux, Unix, and Windows 10.5, where can I download the license file sam41.lic in order to license Tivoli System Automation Multiplatforms 4.1?

Visit Downloading IBM DB2 Version 10.5 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows which contains all the part numbers for DB2 10.5.


If you have already purchased DB2 10.5, as indicated within the above link, one of the following part numbers can be downloaded depending on the platform you are on:


CIZ17ML  IBM® Tivoli® System Automation Multiplatforms 4.1 for Linux® on System x, Linux® on POWER and Linux® on System z Multilingual
CIZ18ML  IBM® Tivoli® System Automation Multiplatforms 4.1 for AIX®

Within the license folder of the extracted package, you will find the sam41.lic file

To apply the license, use the samlicm command as root:


samlicm -i sam41.lic

Once the license has been installed on all nodes the domain must be restarted (if there is one) for the license to be recognized.
If there currently is no domain configured then the license will be recognized when a domain is created.
