Remediation/Fixes
For RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool version 8.1.4.9
Upgrade to the RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool version 8.1.4.9 iFix 04. The detailed instructions for doing so are mentioned below.
1. Ensure that RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool version 8.1.4.9 is installed.
2. Go to Fix Central
3. On the Find product tab, enter Rational Common Licensing in the Product Selector field and hit enter.
4. Select "8.1.4.9iFix4" as Applies to Version and hit continue button.
5. Select the platform of the machine where RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool is installed and hit continue button.
6. On the Identify fixes page, select Browse for fixes and select Show fixes that apply to this version and hit continue button.
7. Click on the interim fix RLKS_Administration_And_Reporting_Tool_8149_iFix_4 and download the ifix repository zip "RLKS_Administration_And_Reporting_Tool_8149_Admin_iFix_4.zip".
8. Extract zip. On extraction you should see <art unzip folder>/ifix04.
9. Shutdown IBM RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool.
10. Launch IBM Installation Manager in GUI or console mode. Add <art unzip folder>/ifix04 to IBM IM.
11. Select "Update".
12. Select "IBM RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool" package. Select Next.
13. Go with the default "Only fixes for Version 8.1.4.9". Select Next.
14. Go with the default to install RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool 8.1.4.9 iFix 04. Select Next.
15. Complete the update. Select Finish.
16. Start IBM RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool.
For RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool version 8.1.4.8 or earlier
Upgrade to the RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool version 8.1.4.9 and then apply the iFix 04 as described above.
