IBM eDiscovery Manager scheduled searches fail with DYRS5025E errors

Troubleshooting


Problem

Our IBM eDiscovery Manager (eDM) scheduled searches are failing with DYRS5025E errors. We are using IBM FileNet P8 as the repository and IBM Content Search Services as the Content Search Engine component.

Symptom

The edmworkmgr logs shows messages like the following:


com.filenet.api.exception.EngineRuntimeException: FNRCB0041E: CBR_TS_QUERY_FAILED_EXCEPTION: An IBM Content Search Services server could not run a full-text search.

Resolving The Problem

Make sure the IBM Content Search Services (CSS) server is running. If it is not running, start the CSS server and then run your eDM searches.
