JBoss EAP 6 Support plans with FileNet Products.

IBM does not plan to support JBoss 6 EAP with ECM products based on the FileNet P8 platform. Examples include but are not limited to FileNet Content Manager, IBM Content Foundation, IBM Case Foundation and IBM Enterprise Records.

JBoss 6 EAP introduced architectural changes which created significant compatibility issues with key components of the FileNet P8 platform.

IBM’s support position on JBoss 5 has not changed. IBM will continue to provide support for all currently supported versions of all application servers, including JBoss 5. For more information please refer to the IBM Software Product Compatibility Reports.

IBM plans to continue to support current levels of the IBM Websphere and Oracle Weblogic application servers at their most-current levels.

Customers can contact their local IBM representative for other application server options, and, for information about IBM Enterprise Content Management SaaS offerings.
