Question
User needs to specify DIRECTORY option as volume location when he wants to use FILE type devclass. They can specify multiple directories in the option. But there is no description about the maximum number of directories in it. So how many directories can he set in the option ?
Answer
There is no limit on the number of directories, but there is a limit on the length of the define devclass command.
The limit is 1500 characters for the command.
The limit is for the length of the entire define devclass command.
