Updated Daeja releases for FileNet Workplace and Workplace XT

Question

Daeja release (4.0.48), packaged with FileNet Workplace 4.0.2 and Workplace XT 1.1.5 contains JAR file certificates that expire on June 11, 2016. How does one obtain an updated Daeja release for Workplace and Workplace XT that contains newer JAR file certificates?

Answer

Both FileNet Workplace 4.0.2.14 IF1 and Workplace XT 1.1.5.2 IF2 have been qualified with Daeja 4.1.5 iFix002 which contains updated JAR file certificates that expire on May 19, 2018.

Daeja 4.1.5 iFix002 has been packaged as a separate LA fix for each product.

Each LA contains:

  • The Daeja 4.1.5 iFix002 ZIP file
  • A Readme file that describes how to install the new Daeja release over the existing Daeja release. Note: Use this Readme that provides specific instructions on how to overly the new Daeja release over the existing one for WP and WPXT. Please ignore the generic Readme that is contained with in the Daeja ZIP file.

The Workplace and Workplace XT LA fixes are available on Fix Central (www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral). Please use the information below to obtain them:

For Workplace:


    Use the 'Find product' tab:

    Product selector: FileNet Application Engine

    Installed Version: 4.0.2.*

    Platform: All

    Individual fix IDs: 4.0.2.14-P8AE_VIEW_415_IF002:VIEW115LA002

    Select interim fix: 4.0.2.14-P8AE_VIEW_415_IF002
