Troubleshooting
Problem
FLI Calculations are incorrect. They show the quarter sum value instead of the monthly payment values.
Symptom
You observe in the record that the FLI calculation value is incorrect
Cause
This is a regression in the application that was initially found in 10.4.2.1 and also occurs in 10.5
Environment
TRIRIGA Platform 3.5 running Application 10.5
Diagnosing The Problem
1. Home > Contract > Leases > RELeases
2. Add
3. Enter lease name
4. Select ‘Expense Lease’ in lease type
5. Select ‘Modified Gross’ or ‘Full Service Gross’ in Lease Category
6. Select ‘Payment in Arrears’ for Payment Timing
7. Enter commencement date 1st Jan 2016
8. Enter Expiration date 6th March 2017
9. Select Contract details Tab and enter a user for the contract administrator role
10. Select a Tenant from the Tenant Organization lookup
11. Select a Landlord from the Landlord Organization lookup
12. Select the same organization as the Tenant for the default Remit To
13. Click Create Draft
14. On Payments Tab, click Generate Payment Schedules
15. Enter the following field values; (date is in DD/MM/YYY format) and Generate Schedules

17. Click on Accounting tab and select the following field and click ‘Calculate Lease Treatment’

19. Save the lease then Activate
20. After activation review the accounting tab. The quarterly payments are not spread evenly over the Fiscal Periods and they should be.

Resolving The Problem
This is a regression and it is going to be fixed in next TRIRIGA Application release 10.5.1 and 10.4.2.2
