How do I extract and merge files to deploy IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager on XenServer 6.5?

Use one of the following methods to deploy IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager on XenServer 6.5:

From Passport Advantage:

  1. Download the IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager v2.0.2 Virtual Appliance for Citrix XenServer with Fix Pack 2, Multilingual (CN89IML)
  2. Extract the contents of ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258_vhd.zip by using 7-zip or any compatible software.
  3. Use the .vhd file to deploy IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager on XenServer 6.5.

From DVD:
  1. In the IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager v2.0.2 Virtual Appliance for Citrix XenServer with Fix Pack 2 (1 of 2) DVD, obtain ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258.zip.001.
  2. In the IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager v2.0.2 Virtual Appliance for Citrix XenServer with Fix Pack 2 (2 of 2) DVD, obtain ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258.zip.002.
  3. Merge ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258.zip.001 and ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258.zip.002 by selecting both files and use 7-zip or any compatible software to extract them into ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258.zip.
  4. Extract ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258.zip by using 7-zip.
  5. Extract ispim_2.0.2.2_20160204-0258_vhd.zip.
  6. Use the final .vhd file to deploy IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager on XenServer 6.5.
