Abstract

SSO Hotfix 9001-ST-Community-FP-NNUM-9YPKA5 enables SAML support for Sametime On-Premise customers. This hotfix for the Windows platform provides binary replacement of all the chat server executable, jars and other files. The change allows chat servers to support SAML token, in addition to the LTPA token that is supported today.

Installation Instructions

For Windows platform:
1. Stop Domino server.

2. Back-up your entire \Domino folder.

On Windows the default location of \Domino folder is: C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Domino


Note The hotfix is a collection of binaries and other files. Once those files are copied to Windows directory, there is no automatic way to revert back to the original binaries.

3. The hotfix contains two zip files:
- WinBinaries.zip
- WinCgibin.zip


4. Extract WinBinaries.zip to the default location of \Domino folder and ensure the new files are copied and overwrite the original files.

Make sure the new binaries and files are extracted to \Domino folder and not to a different folder.

On Windows the default location of \Domino folder is: C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Domino

5. Extract WinCgibin.zip to the default location of \cgi-bin folder.

On Windows the default location of \cgi-bin folder:

C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Domino\data\domino\cgi-bin

6. Restart Domino

To validate the installation, open \trace\sametime.log and search for the following string: SAMETIME30.20_20150713-1038.
