If you are seeing above errors while logging into a specific DataStage project but NOT for all projects, then issue could be corrupted DSParams file under DataStage project folder, verify if DSParams file under DataStage project folder like below and verify if DSParams file is with 0 bytes.
/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects/<project name in question>/
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue, copy DSParams from /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Template/ folder
to project folder in question, like below.
- Log into Engine tier via Putty session using dsadm user.
- Go to Template folder path "$ cd /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Template/"
- Run "$ cp DSParams /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects/<project name in question>/"
After copying DSParams file, log into DataStage project in question via either Designer or Director client.
Note: Do NOT add new parameters or modify existing parameter in DSParams file manually (i.e. from command line) outside DataStage Admin client.
