Troubleshooting
Problem
When trying to start the FastBack for Workstations Central Administration Console (CAC) GUI the browser reports that the page cannot be displayed.
Symptom
When trying to launch the Central Administration Console v7.1.1 or v7.1.2 64 bit GUI, the web browser reports that the page cannot be displayed. Example:
Can't establish a connection to the server at:13326
Cause
An issue (a rare one) between WAS v8.5.5.2 and 64bit Java.
Environment
FastBack for Workstations Central Administration Console v7.1.1 and v7.1.2 64 bit software.
Diagnosing The Problem
Logs located in <DRIVE>:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\CAC\wlp\usr\servers\FBFWCAServer\logs
show the following errors:
CWWKE0005E: The runtime environment could not be launched.
CWWKE0018E: An exception occurred while launching the runtime

Resolving The Problem
- Upgrade CAC to version 7.1.3.
Or
- Use CAC 32 bit software.
