Question

What license is required for Self Service users?

Answer

Self Service users are the same as Users Not Requiring Entitlements. They do not need a license. This is applicable to SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.1, IBM Control Desk 7.5.3 and IBM Control Desk 7.6.
Users Not Requiring Entitlements are individuals that are using the Program solely for the following purposes or are using only the following functions of the Program do not require entitlements to the Program:

Users searching their company knowledge base for solutions to problems they are experiencing, Entering service requests and viewing the status of their service requests, Viewing information on assets they own.
