Problem

Keyboard combination ctrl+right/left arrow keys stop working when green arrows to go to previous/next page are clicked

Cause

This is working as designed.

Environment

Maximo 7.5 and 7.6

Diagnosing The Problem


Consider the following scenario:

Log in from an IE browser (tests were done using IE8, IE9, IE10, IE11 - same behavior)
Go to any application , e.g. Work Order Tracking
Press enter to list all WOs
Click on the green arrow to go to the next page
Now press ctrl+left arrow on keyboard or ctrl+right arrow on keyboard to move to
previous or next page - nothing happens.

Resolving The Problem


This is working as designed. When you click on the actual arrow you have moved focus
from the table. If you click in a field on the filter row and then use the keystrokes, it will
work again.

In later versions, even in Firefox, you will see the same behavior.
