Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) stage preprocessing primary key derivation error during Infosphere Datastage job compile.
Symptom
Error returned to display during job compile:
"Error preprocessing Primary Key Derivation for stage {SCD stage name}". Clicking on More indicates : "The key expression for column '<column_name>' is empty, if the column is not going to be used as a lookup key then the key flag should be cleared!"

Possible causes
1) Wrong lookup key in the referenced in the Slowly Changing Dimension stage
2) Wrong primary key columns designated
