Cause
When the DBA created the OLAP database the Default Instance Name was used for the OLAP instance.
In this case the customer had entered the database server host name for the OLAP instance setting instead of using the Default Instance Name during the installation.
Resolving The Problem
The following steps were used to resolve the issue.
- Stop Case Analyzer.
- Locate analyzer.properties file (CA_install_path\IBM\FileNet\Case Analyzer Engine\jpa).
- Open the analyzer.properties file in a text editor.
- Locate the following entry: "analyzer.olap.instance="
- If OLAP database was created using the Default Instance Name leave the value blank, if it was given a name during creation enter the name.
- Restart Case Analyzer and process cubes.
