Content Navigator Support Policy

Product Lifecycle


Abstract

IBM Content Navigator is delivered on a continuous basis. Therefore, the two most recent mod releases are supported.

Content

IBM Content Navigator (ICN)--including desktop components for Sync and Microsoft Office Integration--is delivered as a component in a number of IBM Products, including IBM FileNet Content Manager, IBM Content Foundation, IBM Case Manager and others. To allow for rapid feature delivery, ICN is released on a more frequent basis than the products that contain it.

As a result, support for ICN is limited to the most recent releases of the product.

Below is the current status of ICN releases.


1. ICN V2.0.2 or older releases will be EOS on 12/31/2017. Please refer to the link below for details.

2. ICN V2.0.3 is currently supported. Future APAR fixes will only be provided on top of ICN V2.0.3.8. ICN V2.0.3 will reach End Of Support on 4/30/2019.  Please refer to the link below for details.

3. ICN V3.0.0 or above releases will be supported. Future APAR fixes will be delivered on top of the two most recent "Mod" releases. A Mod release is indicated by the 3rd digit in the product numbering. As part of the continuous delivery, new releases will be available in relatively shorter cycles, customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest release.
