Problem with Job Plans in Maximo 7.5.0.5 in Interim Fixes 016 Through 019

Abstract

A problem with Job Plans was introduced starting with Interim Fix 016. This problem has been fixed in IFIX 020 and above.

A problem with Job Plans was introduced starting with Interim Fix 016 and is present in subsequent IFixes through and including 019. It has been fixed in the current Interim Fixes available for download on Fix Central starting with IFix 020 (each Interim Fix contains all the fixes made in the previous IFixes).

A set of class files which can be applied to either IFix 018 or 019 is also available.

The problem is that when you apply a Job Plan to a Work Order the Job Plan Task Descriptions do not get copied over to the Work Order Tasks. The descriptions for the Work Order Tasks are blank.


The files for 7505 IFIX files IF016 - IF019 have been removed from Fix Central. The file names were:
IFIX016 - TPAE_7505_IFIX.20150108-0901
IFIX017 TPAE_7505_IFIX.20150113-1719
IFIX018 TPAE_7505_IFIX.20150120-1848
IFIX019 TPAE_7505_IFIX.20150127-1624

If you have any of those files, please do not install them. Download any IFix 020 or above (021, 022, and so on) from Fix Central instead.

This problem was only released in the 7.5.0.5 Interim Fixes listed above and does not affect any other Maximo versions.


The problem is being tracked as a re-working of the fix for APAR IV67072.
