Abstract
IBM has announced the withdrawal of support for Cognos Series 7 Version 5. The end of support date and replacement information has been updated.

The IBM Cognos Series 7 Version 5 products were released in December 2010 - including Cognos Impromptu, Cognos Impromptu Web Reports, Cognos NoticeCast, Cognos Series 7 PowerPlay, Cognos Visualizer, and Cognos Web Services.
IBM has announced that the withdrawal of support for these version 7.5 product releases will be April 30, 2023.
Since there are no follow-on releases clients are encouraged to discuss with their IBM account representative the options available to them for trading up their IBM Cognos Series 7 licenses to IBM Cognos Analytics and PowerPlay licenses.
The withdrawal details may be found in the IBM Offering Information announcement letters published on January 13, 2015 and updated on Mar 20, 2017 in various regions globally:
