How to hide zeros in a TM1Web websheet ?

Question & Answer

Question

In Excel there are few possibilities to show zeroes as blank in a sheet : - In the Excel Options, Advanced, option "Show a zero in cells that have zero value" - Create a Custom Style that applies white color for both font and cell background if value is zero. But none of these solutions work in TM1Web : the zeros reappear.

Answer

There is a third solution, that works in TM1Web :

- Select the desired cells or columns either in crosstab or in the TM1RPTFMTRNG range of formatting cells (the first few hidden lines at the top of the sheet)

- Right-click, select "Format Cell...", "Number" tab, and select "Custom"

- Type custom format:

0;-0;;@

In TM1Web as in Excel, all zeros will appear blank.
