CLM server monitoring Early Access licenses expire on December 31, 2014 or February 5, 2015

Problem

This technote provides information about the expiration of the IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) Server Monitoring Early Access licenses on December 31, 2014 or February 5, 2015.

Symptom

After the licenses expire (on February 5, 2015 or December 31, 2014) CLM Server Monitoring may be unavailable.

CLM versions 5.0 and 5.0.1: Server Monitoring early access license keys expire on December 31, 2014.

CLM version 5.0.2: Server Monitoring early access license keys expire on February 5, 2015

Cause

This issue has been reported as defect APAR PI32955.

Diagnosing The Problem

Check the expiration date listed on the Jazz Team Server (JTS) administration page under > Client Access Licenses > CLM Server Monitoring - User

Resolving The Problem

The licenses are available to download from the IBM Rational License Key Center (LKC). The CLM Server monitoring license is included in all the 6.0 licenses and this CLM Server monitoring license is compatible with 5.x."
