Does a change to the Tivoli Storage Manager Server Resource timeout affect existing sessions ?
Answer
The resource wait time for a particular client session is established at the creation time of the session and is not modified during the duration of the session. So a change to the resource time out whether to increase or decrease the setting will not change the time out for already existing sessions
