Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to test the TIBCO EMS (Enterprise Message Service) transport in IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT) results in the error "initializing javax.jms.JMSContext".
Symptom
Steps to reproduce:
- Configure the TIBCO EMS transport.
- Open the resource in the physical view.
- Click on Test Transport.
- Test result does not appear and no errors are thrown.
- However, JVM console displays this error:
initialising javax.jms.JMSContext
Cause
TIBCO EMS 8.0 is not supported with RIT 8.5.x
Resolving The Problem
Use the supported version of TIBCO as specified in the RIT system requirements in the IBM Knowledge Center.
