When creating a new TM1 server instance, the service name is display wrong (including an equal sign)

Problem

When using TM1 Cognos Configuration 10.2.2 to set up a new TM1 server instance resource an equal sign is erroneously inserted in front of the service name.

Symptom

When you set up a new server instance SData, the service name is incorrectly set as "= SData" and the display name is set as "IBM Cognos TM1 Server - = SData"

Cause

Check in the tm1s.cfg the parameter ServerName.
The error comes When there is a space before the equal sign in the ServerName parameter.
e.g:
ServerName = SData
ServerName =SData
both cause the error

Diagnosing The Problem

If setting up a new service the service name is incorrectly set as "= SData" and the display name is set as "IBM Cognos TM1 Server - = SData"

Resolving The Problem

Stop the the TM1 server, which has the error, in Cognos Configuration.
Go to the tm1s.cfg of this tm1 server and set the parameter ServerName without any space before and after the equal sign.
e.g:
ServerName=SData

Save the tm1s.cfg (if you get access denied error then open the notepad with run as admin)
Start the TM1 server again.
