Troubleshooting
Problem
If you print a report in IBM Rational DOORS that uses the Rational Publishing Engine or Document Generation feature, and if the report includes an attribute with an ampersand (&) in the attribute name or value, an error occurs. The error occurs when using the JavaScript output function on content that includes an attribute with the ampersand.
Symptom
The following error is displayed:
CRRPE3095E Output processing could not continue due to an error.
javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: The reference to entity
'ie' must end with the ';' delimiter.
....
CRRPE1064I Aborting engine execution...
Cause
This issue has been identified as a product defect.
Resolving The Problem
WORKAROUND:
Avoid including the & character in attributes.
