DESCRIPTION The android application, IBM Cognos Mobile for Android negotiates TLSv1.0 even though the SSL server requests TLSv1.2, and the version of android on the client support v1.2. As a rule, SSL clients should negotiate to the highest version supported on both the client and the server. In this case, however, this is not happening. This version of TLS has a number of knows attacks against it including, BEAST attack and MITM attacks.
