Service Vulnerabilities exist in the AEL and Event Viewer

The following types of security vulnerabilities were found by
AppScan Enterprise edition whilst performing a security scan of
the Web GUI 7.4.0 AEL:
- Cross-Site Scripting
- Microsoft Windows MHTML Cross-Site Scripting

These vulnerabilities apply across the following Web GUI URLs:
- ael/Configuration
- ael/Tools/AlertSummary
- AELView

CVE ID: CVE-2014-0942
Description:
IBM Netcool OMNIbus WebGUI is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the eventViewer.jsp script. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted URL to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, once the URL is clicked. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
