Abstract

This document highlights an announcement regarding IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere 7.5 and documentation on upgrading your product.

Content

An announcement has been made that extended support for IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) for WebSphere 7.5.x will no longer be offered after September 30th, 2014. You can find the announcement here: Software withdrawal and end of service: IBM Rational selected products

You can also find the status of the product versions in the Rational Software Support Lifecycle site.



You can find information on upgrading in the Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Knowledge Center for the version to which you want to upgrade. Here are specific links for versions 8.0.4, 8.5.1, and 9.0:

    Note: RAD 8.5.5.x is an update for any earlier RAD 8.5.x installation that you can apply using the Update feature in IBM Installation Manager.
