Warnings when rolling back WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5.x to 8.5.0.x

Problem

When performing a rollback from Websphere Application Server 8.5.5.x to WebSphere Application Server 8.5.0.x , warnings will be issued related to one of the installation tasks.

Symptom

When performing a rollback there will be a warning issued when the post-installation step updateOdrServerXml.ant is run as part of the post-install activity. This occurs when the 8.5.0.x installation step is issued. This warning is benign and should not cause a problem.

Cause

A change in the product dependencies drives this issue.

Environment

Only encountered when rolling back to WebSphere 8.5.0.x from WebSphere 8.5.5.x.

Diagnosing The Problem

When performing the rollback a warning will be reported and reflected in the rollback logs. This is due to the execution of updateOdrServerXml.ant task.

Resolving The Problem

No resolution is needed. The warning message is not harmful.
