Problem
MustGather for problems with the IBM® WebSphere® Intelligent Management Health Monitoring component. Gathering this information before calling IBM support will help familiarize you with the troubleshooting process and save you time.
Resolving The Problem
Health Monitoring specific MustGather information
1. Description of the issue with the health monitoring.
2. Enable tracing in WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment cell:
- Enable tracing on the WebSphere process that contains the Health Controller. The Health Controller typically runs on one of the active nodeagents or the deployment manager.
com.ibm.ws.xd.hmm.*=all
- Enable tracing on the monitored processes when something did not complete or should happen execute something:
com.ibm.ws.performance.tuning.*=all:NodeDetect=all
3. Recreate the concern with the health monitoring
4. Run the collector tool on each installation
5. Send us the following:
- All the collector tool output files
What to do Next?
Once you have collected the MustGather information simply submit the diagnostic information to IBM support.
