Cognos Disclosure Management 10.2.2: Issue affecting EFM validation and SEC renderer
An issue has been identified with certain versions of Cognos Disclosure Management 10.2.2 that will cause issues running the EDGAR Filer Manual validation service and the SEC Renderer.
The issue has been identified with any downloaded copy of the Cognos Disclosure Management 10.2.2 product from the Passport Advantage site on January 13th, 2014 and after. You are only affected if you use the CDM application for XBRL instance document production for filing to the SEC. This has been logged as APAR PI10316.
The issue will not allow EDGAR Filer Manual validations to run, nor will it allow the successful
generation of the SEC Renderer to preview XBRL instance documents.
A hotfix has already been identified and can be accessed by following the link below. Instructions to apply the fix are included in the hotfix package. This hotfix will be included in the upcoming Cognos Disclosure Management fixpack currently targeted for February 2014.
