Problem

Cause
This problem is related to the known problem for GSKit 8 in ITM 630 TEMA releases and GSKit 7 in pre ITM 630 TEMA releases.
The OS agent installs only 64 bit binaries on AIX.
The DB2 agent installs both 32 bit and 64 bit binaries on AIX.
Looking at the cinfo -i information for ax and gs, we can see that the OS agent installed 64 bit GSkit 8.00.50.05 and 64 bit AX 6.30.02.
The DB2 agent installed 32 bit AX 6.22.02 and no GSKit 7x because GSKit 8 (64) is already installed.

Resolving The Problem
Above issue can be resolved by performing local installation of UX (64bit) and UD component with Tivoli Framework installation using below steps
1. Install UX agent
# ./install.sh
2. Then perform installation of Tivoli Framework as
<MEDIA>./install.sh -q -p <MEDIA>/unix/tfaix536.txt -h <ITMHOME>
3. Lastly, install UD agent
# ./install.sh
Where
<MEDIA> is Tivoli Monitoring Agents installation media
And
<ITMHOME> is the Tivoli Monitoring installation directory to be updated.
Check the itm_install.trc log file for any failure.
